Dill French Bread Recipe

I made this bread with the dill I received last week. Yummy dipped in olive oil!

Dill French Bread

1-1/3 C warm water
2 tbsp. olive oil
2 teaspoons minced garlic
4 cups bread flour
¼ C gluten
1-1/2 teaspoon salt
5 teaspoons white sugar
1 tablespoon dried dill
4 tsp. yeast

Place ingredients in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select dough cycle; press Start.

When finished, put on baking stone and shape into loaf. Let rise in warm place for 1-1/2 hours. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 min.

Note: You can substitute whole wheat flour for some of the bread flour. This recipe was originally for Rosemary French Bread. I substituted dill for the rosemary, but either are delicious.
