I got the consent forms signed for the farm sign to be put in place yesterday. Now, I just need to turn the proposal into the county and wait for the county council to vote on it. I am also receiving a lot of support, enthusiasm and inquiries about what we are doing. I am really excited for the weather to change.
Mr Atkins yesterday had some very good advice and words of encouragement for me and my family when I met with him yesterday to get his permission to put the sign in his field. I think for family night some night this spring I would like to take the whole family in to see his office and equipment and learn what goes into a real family farm.
