Week 5 CSA Box

Here's what I'm seeing in the gardens for this week.

• Choy/Cabbage
• Green Beans
• Lodi Apples for making apple pie
• Yellow Squash
• Beets
• Chard
• New Red Potatoes
• Cucumbers (where available--they are just starting to come on)

Also, MBF is on the Madison County Garden Tour this Saturday. The tour is from 10AM to 5PM and we are one of the gardens on the tour. If you would like to walk back to see the gardens, please go ahead. There will be someone selling tickets but since you are a CSA member you can go back any time. Just be sure to park and walk back. If you want to make a contribution to The Masters Gardeners the money goes to a scholarship fund for high school seniors planning to study agriculture. I'm sure they would appreciate any donation.
